The latest Audi A6 Allroad quattro has now made its online reveal ahead of an official world debut at March’s 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

The car is 16.21 feet long, 6.23 feet wide and 4.82 feet tall, making it just a tad bigger than the regular A6 Avant wagon. Total vehicle weight has been reduced by as much as 154 pounds compared with the previous model.

It accelerates the A6 Allroad from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds and returns an average gas mileage of 26.43 mpg on the conservative European combined cycle.

Like in most all-wheel drive Audis these days, the quattro drive system is paired with torque vectoring. Electromechanical power steering is standard, as is adaptive air suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Audi assistance and safety systems lend even more confidence to driving. Audi active lane assist helps the driver to maintain the lane; Audi side assist helps when changing lanes. The driver information system with rest recommendation function detects when the driver is getting tired and recommends taking a rest.

The park assist system with 360° display takes over the steering; the parking system plus with 360° camera provides good vision in all directions. Lexus has launched a face lifted LX 570 at the 2012 Detroit motor show. Exterior upgrades include LED daytime running lights and larger fog lamp bezels. Tail lamps are also updated. The cabin also gets mahogany wood trim with parchment replacing cashmere as an interior leather trim color.


The
2013 Lexus LX 570 gets a new look at both the front and rear. The driver's seat gets a new Easy Access system, which makes entering and exiting the vehicle easier. Four-wheel Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) employs both brake and throttle intervention to help control wheel spin.

The Lexus LX 570's highly capable chassis is equipped with an advanced suspension system. For improved aerodynamics, the AHC system lowers the vehicle at highway speeds. The Lexus LX 570 is equipped with 10 standard airbags, including driver- and front-passenger knee airbags, front and second-row seat-mounted side airbags in the outboard seating positions, and roll-sensing side curtain airbags that cover all three rows. All eight seating positions feature three-point seatbelts. The Lexus LX 570 was also the first in its class to offer available Pre-Collision System with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. The Wide-view Front and Side Camera functions up to a vehicle speed of about 7.5 mph and can display the front and side views simultaneously in split-screen mode.

A full array of standard luxury amenities includes four-zone independent climate control, front-seat power-seat cushion extenders, a rear back-up camera, Lexus Navigation System and nine-speaker Lexus Premium Sound system with iPod/USB connectivity, HD radio with iTunes tagging, and streaming music via Bluetooth®.

The standard power-sliding second-row seat slides forward and aft 3.5 inches for passenger comfort and cargo storage versatility. A power retractable third-row seat is standard. In addition to the Luxury Package, the new
Lexus LX 570 now features a rear dual screen rear-seat entertainment system with wireless headphones and three-prong electrical outlet.
