2012 Toyota Avensis Facelift
The Japanese legendary Automaker 'Toyota' has launched the face-lift version of its Avensis model at the Frankfurt Motor Show, held in Germany, 2011.

The 2012 version of
Toyota Avensis offers a luxurious, four door, sedan class vehicle with better styling and performance. The car possess an aggressive look once compared to its earlier version.

The front grille, especially the bottom part of it allows ample air-flow under the hood, through passages and air dams. More air-flow results in rapid cooling of the heated parts. Otherwise the incoming air would increase the overall drag and this drag is particularly called as Cooling Air Drag.

As mentioned earlier, the 2012 version of Toyota Avensis offers two engines in the diesel segment and one in the petrol segment. A 20L,. four cylinder, D-4D turbo-charged engine and a 22L. engine forms the vehicle's. diesel variants.

The turbocharged diesel variant delivers a power of around 124 hp, while the other power configuration delivers 144 hp.

Both the diesel engines has a six speed manual transmission system as its standard feature. The other diesel and petrol variants emits carbon dioxide gases slightly higher than the turbocharged engine.

Interiors
Standard safety features like ABS, Traction Control, Electronic Stability, etc,. are available by default while the Adaptive Cruise Control System and Lane Departure Warning System are made optional

2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo


November 9, 2011 – Oxnard, Calif. – Oxnard Hyundai is excited to confirm, Hyundai Motor America’s CEO John Krafcik confirmed the automaker is planning a turbocharged Veloster.

The 2013 Veloster Turbo is scheduled to Debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January.

According to Hyundai, a 16-liter. turbocharged engine will power the Veloster. Oxnard Hyundai is proud to serve the greater Ventura County.

Hyundai Motor America CEO John Krafcik announced the car tonight at an event on the eve of the 2011 SEMA show in Las Vegas.

Krafcik promised the car would debut at the 2012 Detroit auto show in January alongside a face-lifted Genesis coupe. If the 204-hp number proves accurate, that would place the top-dog Veloster precariously close to the base Genesis coupe's. 210-hp figure.

At the SEMA Show Hyundai does have plans to unveil a turbocharged Veloster, but it won’t be a production car. Built by ARK Performance, the race-inspired tuner car (above) will, however, sport a 210-hp twin-scroll turbocharged 16-liter.

The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG from Mercedes-AMG represents the third generation of the high-performance sport utility vehicle. It all began in 1999 with the 2000 ML55 AMG. The performance of the 2007 ML63 AMG was in the sports-car league.

Power for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG comes from a 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine making 518-hp at 5,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 516 lb-ft between 1,750 – 5,000 rpm. The AMG Performance Package also adds an engine cover genuine carbon fiber, calipers painted in red and the AMG Performance steering wheel in Premium leather/DINAMICA.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, which is 99 pounds lighter than its predecessor, also gets something called the ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM for active roll stabilization. The 2012 Mercedes ML63 AMG will hit U.S. showrooms in the first quarter of 2012.

The AMG Performance Package also includes an engine cover in high-quality genuine carbon fiber, calipers painted in red and the AMG Performance steering wheel in Premium leather/DINAMICA.

Power delivery to all four permanently driven wheels is via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7-speed automatic transmission. This system, which is standard equipment on the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, features active stabilizers on the front and rear axles to compensate for body roll during cornering.

The design of the new ML63 AMG exudes self-confidence, athleticism and power. AMG styling dominates the front view. Sporty character and premium quality define the interior of the high-performance SUV from AMG. This is evident in the standard designo premium leather AMG power sports seats offering excellent lateral support, as well as the four-spoke AMG Performance steering wheel.

The distinctive instrument cluster with color TFT monitor, AMG welcome logo and AMG main menu is exclusive to the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG.

The standard designo features on the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG include premium leather upholstery on the AMG sports seats.

To address those concerns, the 2012 ML63 AMG features many advanced features and changes, ranging from shedding 99 lbs compared to the outgoing model, to 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, which distributes engine power at a ratio of 40:60 to the front and rear axle, AMG-developed sports suspension with AIRMATIC air suspension, independent damper struts, automatic level control and Adaptive Damping System (ADS), which are all combined for the first time with

Active Curve System, which provides active roll stabilization.

To that question, AMG answers with a high-performance braking system with high fade resistance, featuring ventilated and perforated brake discs at all four corners. The ML63 AMG addresses that in spades.

The AMG front fascia is integrated into the distinctive front fenders, which are 0.4 inches wider on each side than the standard ML in order to accommodate the larger AMG alloy wheels.

To that, Mercedes-Benz and AMG have made changes to enhance the experience for all occupants, including style and functionality changes. Other features include a seven-inch display, 4.5-inch instrument cluster display, power lift gate, multi-color ambient lighting, power sunroof and heated and active ventilated front seats.

Further active assistance systems such as Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist are available as additional equipment.
