The first official images of the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe surfaced online last week, ahead of the car’s world debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January.
Starting with the base 20-liter. four-cylinder engine, peak output has been lifted to 271 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. The 38-liter. V-6 meanwhile gains 39 horsepower and 29 pound-feet of torque above the pre-facelifted Genesis Coupe, with its final figures pegged at 345 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
In. Korea, Hyundai told both engines may be ordered with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic.
Hyundai has also confirmed that the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe gets an upgraded 38. liter V6 now with 350 hp. The new Genesis Coupe is probably the cheapest way of getting 350 hp, an eight-speed transmission, and rear-wheel-drive.
